Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride Overview
Enter Gru’s lab as he unveils their newest invention, the ability to turn ordinary park guests into minions, on Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. Although, you are not clear for minion duty yet. First, all new minions must pass training led by Margo and the girls.
Although, in classic Gru fashion, things don’t always go as planned. All it takes is one banana for the minions to lose concentration and start a chaotic adventure through Gru’s villainous laboratory.
The main attraction takes place in a 3-D theater with motion simulator-style seating after guests pass through two preshows. Also, stationary seating is available for those who need it or for smaller children.

Our Recommendations
Ride Priority: High – Plan this into your day.
Best Time to Ride: For the shortest wait, ride first thing after the park opens or the last hour before the park closes. This attraction gets one of the highest wait times in the park.
Best Seats in the House: All seats provide a similar experience, although the middle seats are slightly better as with any theater-based experience. Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose a specific seat, but you may have luck requesting a row if you prefer sitting in the front or the back of the theater.
