5 Important Life Lessons We Can Learn From Theme Parks

We all love to have fun at theme parks, but did you know you can learn important life lessons from them too? Well, now you do! Here are 5 important life lessons we learned by visiting theme parks around the world.

1. “Smile Always”

The Smiler, Alton Towers

As crazy as this rollercoaster is, going upside down a whopping 14 times, it teaches us an important life lesson. That lesson is to be happy and smile. A simple smile can bring happiness to those around us. Plus, the more we smile, the happier we are too. Not every day will be perfect, but if you can find something to smile about then those days will be a lot easier. A world with more smiles is a better world for us all.

2. “There’s a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow”

Carousel of Progress, Magic Kingdom

“There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day”. We all know these classic lyrics from one of Disney’s most famous rides. (And if you’re like me, then you kept singing past just that line!) Although, these simple words teach us to look forward to the future. Today may not have gone as planned, but tomorrow is a new day full of new experiences. Plus, tomorrow is what we make of it. So, chose to make tomorrow an awesome day and it may just turn out that way!

3. “Love Every Moment”

Dollywood

In today’s culture, we rush through everything. We have to ride every coaster at a theme park, get our food as fast as possible, and get from A to B in the shortest distance. Because of this, we often forget to enjoy the small moments life has to offer. Each moment has value, whether it’s getting a milk mustache or talking on the phone with an old friend. Plus, one day everything will just be a memory. So, treasure every moment while you can.

4. “Face Your Fears”

Saw: The Ride, Thorpe Park

Fears are a natural part of life. Likewise, we are all afraid of something, but facing these fears is important. It can be hard at first, and may take a long time, but conquering a fear is an incredible feeling. When we face our fears, we become more confident in ourselves. Similarly, theme parks are a perfect place to conquer a variety of fears including heights.

5. “Ride On”

Cedar Fair Amusement Parks

Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to. One day, we may be perfectly happy and the next day everything can turn upside down. Sometimes, things are smooth sailing, and other times things can be a bit rough. Life is truly like a roller coaster with all those ups and downs. Although, sometimes it’s best to put your hands in the air and see where the world takes you. At the end, you will have plenty of memories to treasure.
