Jurassic Park River Adventure Ride Overview
Embark on a peaceful journey on Jurassic Park River Adventure that takes a turn for the worst just like the movies. Plus, finish the ride off nearly escaping the jaws of a T-Rex and plunge down an 85-foot drop.
Overall, this water ride is a perfect mild thrill for the family and a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Loose Articles:
- Most loose articles are allowed on the ride, but should be properly secured.
- Backpacks are also allowed, but must be held in your lap or placed on your seat in front of you. Keep in mind that your backpack and items inside may get wet.
Also, we recommend bringing a couple quart-sized Ziploc bags to put your phone, wallet, and keys in if you plan to keep those in your pocket.

- Standard small lockers start at $4 and large lockers start at $5 for a 90-minute rental.
- If you plan to rent this locker, we recommend you ride all three water rides back-to-back. The other two water rides are Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges.
Accessibility:
- Guests in wheelchairs must transfer onto the ride vehicle.
- Learn additional accessibility information on Universal Orlando’s website here.
How Wet Will I Get?
Overall, we equate it to walking in moderate rain for a bit. Riders towards the front and edges will get more wet than riders towards the back. Although, full boats will make a larger splash than emptier ones. Also, riders can expect to get much less wet than on Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges.
Our Recommendations
Ride Priority: High – Plan this into your day.
Best Time to Ride: For the shortest wait, ride during the first two hours of the day. Also, the last hour of the day can offer short waits too.
Best Seats in the House: If you enjoy getting soaked, the front row is the way to go. If you were dragged on the ride and prefer to get less soaked, then towards the back is better. Also, the attraction attendants traditionally assign you a seat, but they may grant your request if you ask for a certain spot.
