Doctor Doom’s Fearfall Ride Overview
Launch 185 feet into the sky and immediately drop right back down as Doctor Doom collects your fear for his latest weapon against the Fantastic Four. Then enjoy the view of the park as you bounce up and down a few more times before returning to the ground on Doctor Doom’s Fearfall.
Upon your return, Doctor Doom greets riders with maniacal laughter after getting enough fear to finally defeat the Fantastic Four.

Our Recommendations
Ride Priority: Moderate – Experience this ride as long as time allows.
Best Time to Ride: For the shortest wait, ride during the first 90 minutes the park is open.
- We recommend riding in the morning after The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
- Alternatively, the ride also often has a short wait in the evening too and can provide a cool nighttime ride experience.
Best Seats in the House: All seats provide the same ride experience, but some have a better view than others. We enjoy facing the rest of the park the best. Traditionally, you will be assigned a seat by the attraction attendant, but it never hurts to ask for the side that overlooks the park!
Doctor Doom’s Villains Tour
The Doctor Doom’s Villains tour is a free behind the scenes tour offered at the attraction. This tour is offered on less busy days at the park when the attraction has a staff member to spare.
Also, to see if they can do the tour on a select day, simply walk up to the attraction attendant at the entrance and ask! They may pass the question to the supervisor to check.
What Will I Experience on the Tour?
- Learn Easter eggs about the theming of the ride and Doom Alley.
- Take a photo in Doctor Doom’s throne, usually locked to the public.

Doctor Doom’s Fearfall Fun Facts
- In Doom Alley leading up to the attraction, there are splat marks of the Fantastic Four on the ground. Doom Alley actually shows a scenario in which the Fantastic Four were defeated.
- Riders experience 4 G’s of force on the attraction, which means four times the force of gravity.
