Time Traveler Coaster at Silver Dollar City Makes World Debut!
Silver Dollar City’s brand new Time Traveler Roller Coaster opens to the public for the first time, tomorrow, March 14th! Likewise, a few lucky riders were given the chance to experience the coaster today before the grand opening and we have a few pictures here! Additionally, this coaster is one of the most highly anticipated rides of the 2018 season and for a good reason. Costing a whopping $26 million, Time Traveler is the biggest attraction to ever debut at Silver Dollar City.
Time Traveler is the tallest, fastest, and most insane spinning coaster ever built! The coaster features a 10 story 90-degree vertical drop right out of the station. Likewise, riders will zoom at speeds over 50 mph through mountainous terrain. And the craziness doesn’t stop there. Time Traveler also features two high speed launches and flips riders upside down not once, not twice, but three different times.
Plus, we aren’t talking about any ordinary vomit-inducing spinning coaster here. Time Traveler features a state-of-the-art controlled spin that will enhance the ride experience rather than make riders sick. Similarly, this revolutionary new system will provide riders a unique experience every time. So, no two rides will ever be the same.
Since the park’s opening in 1960, Silver Dollar City has wowed visitors around the world and this year will be no exception. Time Traveler is a new breed of roller coaster that will provide riders with thrills for years to come.
