New Hogwarts Projection Show Announced for Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando Resort just announced a new Hogwarts Castle projection show coming to park in just a few weeks! The Nightime Lights at Hogwarts Castle projection show will feature each of the four houses, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw showing off their house pride for all to see. All set alongside some of the most popular music from the Harry Potter films. This show originally premiered at Universal Studios Hollywood last year with spectacular (dare we say magical?) reviews!

The new show will debut during “A Celebration of Harry Potter” on January 27th and 28th. Plus, guests that purchased the Celebration of Harry Potter Package will get an exclusive preview of the new show on Friday, January 26th. The show will also take place Jan 31st – Feb 5th, and Feb 7th – 12th. (For more info about the Celebration of Harry Potter event, click here.)

This is the second projection show to take place on Hogwarts Castle in Universal Orlando. The first of which was the Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle which premiered in November of 2017 and ran the course of the holiday season. This show was wildly popular among guests and it’s no doubt that this new one will be as well!

The Nightime Lights at Hogwarts Castle projection show lasts for around 5 minutes and will likely occur every 20 minutes just like the holiday projection show. Likewise, it will start at sun down each night of its running with the last show occuring around park close.
