Jersey Devil Coaster Coming to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2020
The world’s tallest, fastest, and longest single rail roller coaster lands at Six Flags Great Adventure in 2020. Themed after the legendary creature, the Jersey Devil Coaster will take riders through the dark forbidding woods that the devil calls home.
Here are some stats for the ride:
Height: 130 feet
Speed: 58 mph
Length: 3,000+ feet
# of Inversions: 2
Plus, the first drop will feature an angle of descent of 87 degrees, which is almost straight down. Following the first drop, riders will zoom through a series of intense elements. Two of these starring elements are the 180-degree stall and zero g-roll which will flip riders upside-down high above the trees.
Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), the Jersey Devil Coaster features inline style trains. This means that riders will be in a seat by themselves as the train zooms through the tight single rail maneuvers. Therefore, you’ll have to hold your own hand on this one.
As the 14th roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, this ride will add another unique thrill to the park’s already great line-up.
