Dollywood Announces Biggest Expansion Ever for 2019! Wildwood Grove

Dollywood announced their biggest expansion in park history today coming in 2019! Wildwood Grove combines the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains with the power of imagination. Furthermore, the heart of this new themed land is The Great Wildwood Tree which lights up the night with a stunning display after the sun goes down.

Wildwood Grove features 11 themed experiences that the whole family can enjoy together. Additionally, one of the largest new attractions in the land is the Dragon Flier. On this family suspended coaster, guests will dodge geysers and dart across the ground making for a thrilling experience. Other new attractions include The Mad Mockingbird (a flying scooters ride) and Hidden Hollow (an indoor play area). Here is the concept art for many of these new attractions:

This new land is the park’s biggest expansion in their 33 year history. In fact, Wildwood Grove costs more to build than Dollywood originally took to build when the park first opened. Furthermore, the land is one of the last pieces to Dollywood’s $300 million commitment to invest into the park over the span of 10 years.
